Gia Ledesma

Gia has been working in direct service and program management since 2006. Her experience as an adult education instructor, community organizer, and case manager cemented her belief that the systems we live in were designed to benefit some and fail others. Her area of focus has been understanding complex systems, such as schools and government services, and finding ways to create more access for others. Currently, Gia works for the Seattle University Youth Initiative, a part of the Center for Community Engagement at SU. As the Family Engagement Manager, she is focused on connecting the campus to the community and schools through parent leadership.

Gia is currently the Community Engagement Manager at Seattle University's Center for Community Engagement.
